Hello GIOers, just a short piece about who we are and what we stand for here at GIO. Ever since the world went into lockdown and everyone needed a distraction from the daily hustle and bustle of life. Many of us found new hobbies to keep ourselves sane and we found gardening!
It didn't start with rare plants, just some herbs, and vegetables used in cooking because man can whip up a mean meal, or at least I think I can.
Fast forward to scrolling through IG and BAMMM!
The next thing we knew, we were talking about the Pink Princess locked away in the Monstera tower, combing her long String of Hearts like hair while using a Sinuata for reflection. Many White Knights, Dark Knights, and Black Cardinals vied for her heart, but little did they know all she wanted was a Begonia (Be-gone-ya).
Alright.. enough with the Fairy Tales, and let's go back to the Succulent meals. Having to work from home for the majority of the time, there was lots of food taken away. We noticed a huge increase in food containers, and plastic bags being used and thrown out. This topic brought us to the thoughts of how we can do our part to help Mother Earth while trying to build a Brand and Business.
We promise to reduce unnecessary plastic waste by using recycled paper as fillers while packing your orders and will source alternative eco-friendly materials whenever possible.
We hope to build a community of like-minded people that shares our thoughts and views while making this a better place for our loved ones and future. #Growitorganiccommunity
